Terms of use
Last updated 27 August 2026
By using Try That UI you agree to these terms. If you do not agree, please do not use it.
What this service is
Try That UI helps you turn a screen, screenshot, or connected source repository into a reviewable Current and Proposed experiment. Depending on the enabled beta features, it may capture or analyse material you provide, generate suggestions, synchronize a private workspace, and prepare an approval-gated repository handoff. It does not write, merge, or deploy repository changes without the separate approval required for that operation.
Access is limited
Subject to these terms, we give you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable right to access and use the hosted service for its intended lawful purpose. This permission does not give you access to the source repository or a right to copy, modify, distribute, resell, mirror, or create a competing product from the service, its design, its documentation, or its non-public materials. Any broader permission must be in a separate written agreement signed by the copyright holder or an authorised representative.
Optional X integration
The X Bookmarks feature is opt-in and read-only. It uses official OAuth 2.0 Authorization Code with PKCE and requests only bookmark, post, user, and offline-refresh scopes. Imported posts are private candidates until you review them. You are responsible for choosing an appropriate rights/display mode before any explicit shared-bank publication and for respecting X policies and the rights of creators. Disconnecting X revokes access; deleting imported X data is a separate action.
Other connected services
If you connect GitHub, GitLab, or another provider, you authorize Try That UI to use the permissions shown on that provider's consent screen for the feature you request. You remain responsible for the repositories, screens, and third-party material you select. Disconnecting a provider does not by itself delete workspace records already created from that connection.
Beta status and charges
This is early software. Features may change or be removed, the service may be unavailable, and analysis output may be incomplete or wrong. Do not rely on it as the sole basis for a production change. The beta is free unless the service clearly presents a price and obtains your express agreement before a charge; the presence of experimental billing code does not authorize a charge.
Your responsibilities
- Submit only accounts, references, screenshots, repositories, and source code you have the right to use and process.
- Do not use the service to infringe anyone's copyright, trademark, or other rights.
- Do not attempt to breach, overload, or circumvent the service's limits or security boundaries, including its rate limits.
- Do not use automated systems to access the service in a way that degrades it for others.
Prohibited use
Unless we give you written permission, you must not copy, mirror, scrape, crawl, frame, reproduce, modify, translate, reverse engineer, decompile, disassemble, or extract non-public source or implementation details from the service. You must not use the service or its non-public materials to build, train, market, operate, or support a competing product; resell or sublicense access; remove proprietary notices; or bypass authentication, rate limits, or other technical boundaries. These restrictions apply only to the extent permitted by applicable law.
Reviewing what it produces
Captures, analysis, generated suggestions, patches, and previews may be incomplete or incorrect. You are responsible for reviewing outputs, testing changes, protecting secrets, and confirming that you have authority before any repository or deployment action. A product approval is a recorded user instruction, not an endorsement or guarantee of correctness.
Ownership
The software, its design, documentation, product copy, workflows, prompts, and non-public materials are proprietary and owned by the copyright holder or its licensors. “Try That UI™” and its logos are claimed trademarks or service marks; these terms grant no right to use them or any confusingly similar branding. Your own content and code remain yours. You grant us only the limited rights needed to receive, process, store, and display content you submit as necessary to provide the service and as described in the Privacy page.
Availability
The service is offered as is and as available, with no uptime commitment. It may be modified, suspended, or discontinued at any time. Local modes can store data in your browser; signed-in and connected features can process and store data on our servers as described in the Privacy page. Keep your own source control history and exports of anything you need.
Suspension and termination
We may suspend or terminate access if you breach these terms, create security or legal risk, or misuse the service. When access ends, you must stop using the service and delete any copies of non-public materials you obtained from it. Sections concerning ownership, restrictions, disclaimers, and liability survive termination.
Disclaimer and liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, the service is provided without warranties of any kind, express or implied, including merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement. To the fullest extent permitted by law, the copyright holder is not liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or exemplary damages, or for any loss of data, profits, or code, arising from your use of the service.
Changes
These terms may change; the date above will change with them. Continuing to use the service after a change means you accept the updated terms.
